Comments

OK - no refs with me.

I thought that our Cape Point ones were also ssp. abietina - they are also pink.
Then, there has been some talk of pulling E. conica into the bundle.
I've got some pictures of an E. abietina .ssp ?? taken at Cape Point (near your macowanii that might be in transition.

abietina

conica now abietina subsp. constantiana

subsp abietina is bright red - only Table Mountain and Devils Peak :: on rest of Peninsula they are pink abietina subp. atrorosea

Also abietina subsp. diabola
and subsp. aurantica off the Peninsula
:: do a search to see them all -
