May be the same as the Tokai species, but interesting pattern of apothecial developement.

Location: Plumstead, Cape Town

Confidence: It's likely to be this, but I can't be certain.
Notes: On live bark; crustose thallus appears rounded rather than diffuse, margins not well defined; apothecia sturdy, reddish-brown with firm margins; apothecia appear to mature from the center radiating outwards.
