Tritoniopsis pulchra B'Bos

on 8th July 2012It was the only one I saw. It was smaller than the description in the Bulb Encyclopaedia about 20cm high. No scent. No leaves at flowering, but I saw dead leaves at the bottom and have included the pic. The description is from the Pacific Bulb Soc. website here: http://www.pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/index.php/SouthernAfricanGladi... . The other possibility is G.carmineus but that is out of range, and out of flowering time.

Thanks Guys. I didn't even think of tritoniopsesessess. I have re-named so as not to confuse. I am busy identifying cone-bushes at present.. Oh boy...
Where?, Where?
Where?, Where? - have not seen any!
Secret Conebushes :: get the seeds.
At least with the Conebushes you have only one Tony to contend with, and not three!

ID
Too many flowers for G. stefaniae, and too small. And flowering time wrong. Think we should maybe look outside this genus too - I'm not getting a gladdie vibe here. Looks closer to Tritoniopsis?
