I take it the green underside of leaves has no bearing on ID (I am new to the complicated world of Oxalis)...

But you can see another characteristic of O. purpurea and it's close relatives - the translucent yellow speckles on the leaflets, seen most clearly in the right-handmost leaflet of the last photo.
