Description: This is an observation by Sigrid Liede, who worked extensively on the genus for her PhD in the 1980s. The images are scanned slides from photos taken by Sigrid. The collecting number for the corresponding herbarium specimen is HH 16431. These are different plants from the same population. The flowering season is from Oct-Dec.

Description: A critically endangered spoonfig occurring in disturbed areas (e.g. road verges) in the lowlands around Swellendam. Only two localities are known, one of which is locally extinct due to infrastructure development. The photos are scanned slides of photographs taken by Sigrid Liede who described the species in the 1980s. The collecting No. HH 14738. Unfortunately there are no other photos of this species available.
