Description: Cause of beaching no known but samples of bulber were taken

Description: Southern rught whale calf app one month old. Got caught by low tide, lost bouyancy and suffocated. Measured 5.4m took 56 measurementrs and a blubber sample frozen in salt water.

Description: White whale was alone for over 3 weeks then paired up with black whale. They stayed together for the remainder of the season.
