Description: A better picture of probably the same snake I took a couple of days ago (see Ispot posting) - just below where I saw him/her previously. Obviously very much at home in my wall, with its many nooks and cranies.

Description: Found this small snake curled up in a niche in my garden wall after dusk (hence poor quality of photos). Could someone comment on its likely ID? Sorry, Tony - I know I should have hauled it out to measure everything in immense detail - but what if it was an Atractaspis?!!
