Description: Slender trailing creeper. Leaves trifoliolate and sparsely covered with hairs; terminal leaf much larger than other two. Terminal inflorescence stalk erect. Flowers with keel twisted. Stems roughly hairy. Red List recognizes four varieties of V. vexillata: angustifolia, davyi, ovata and vexillata.
