Description: I came across this spider just after it had slipped out of last season's skin. It dangled in the wind with legs straight out for some time before starting to flex them. After a short rest on the leaf it wrestled with the old skin until it had freed it from its moorings and gaily tossed it into the wind (obviously not a hoarder!).

Description: grey hairy crab spider with an elongated abdomen. The almost equal front 2 pairs of legs readily extend forwards after being raised in threat when the spider is disturbed. This spider is on the tip of a smaller Orange tree leaf perhaps 18 mm at the widest point.

Description: Found on a White Lachnaea. A tiny (2-3mm) brown male was on the back of the much larger (12mm) white female. Unfortunately the female rappelled off the flower spilling the male before I could take a photo of them together.
