The colour (which I know is not always anything to go with) is described as blue-black to black in Branch (1998), and this one is golden-brown. I know the distribution indicates only A plumbeus, but I've bumped my head so many times with reptiles that I decided to play safe.
Acontias! plumbeus!?
Given that you were happy with Acontias, what other species were you concerned with it perhaps being other than plumbeus?
