FALSE MARSH ROSE

LONG STEM WITH GREEN OVERLAPPING LEAVES. FLOWERS ARE WHITE AND PINK AND LOOKS RUBBERY/WAX-LIKED/WET. THE BUD IS HARD AND GOLDEN YELLOW. IT WAS THE ONLY PLANT SURROUNDED BY ERICAS EN RESTIOS. FOUND IN THE ELGIN/KOGELBERG AREA NEAR THE FARM IONA.
