Description: Thick silvery oval leaves with single central vein, leaves oposite. Woody stems - red at new growth. Other examples of same plant nearby formed large stands with single bushes up to 2m wide and 1,2m ht. Found on sandstone slope. Evidence of fire in recent past.

Description: LONG STEM WITH GREEN OVERLAPPING LEAVES. FLOWERS ARE WHITE AND PINK AND LOOKS RUBBERY/WAX-LIKED/WET. THE BUD IS HARD AND GOLDEN YELLOW. IT WAS THE ONLY PLANT SURROUNDED BY ERICAS EN RESTIOS. FOUND IN THE ELGIN/KOGELBERG AREA NEAR THE FARM IONA.

Description: Another one of the south (western) Peninsula's dwarf forms. Here Salters Brickleaf contains only one flower per head (normally there are 3-5) and the plants are much smaller, although the flowers only slightly smaller.
