Saltera

Thick silvery oval leaves with single central vein, leaves oposite. Woody stems - red at new growth. Other examples of same plant nearby formed large stands with single bushes up to 2m wide and 1,2m ht. Found on sandstone slope. Evidence of fire in recent past.
