Hi Lynette - did not Galina Asarkova ID this one for you on Facebook? (One of the Hyllus spp if I am not mistaken?)

Hyllus

I just checked Facebook, and saw that Galina ID'd it as Hyllus argyrotoxus. Since she has worked on jumping spiders in South Africa and elsewhere, I would say that she is an authority on the family. She must get the credit for the ID, not me!!!
The largest jumping spider in SA is also a Hyllus sp. H. treleaveni, which looks a bit like this one.

Thanks Joan

Is the Facebook page public, can you link it?
