Description: A once in a lifetime experience! From my limited knowledge identified as the spotted gully shark, fits the size and behavior (length approx. 1.5 - 2m). Reputed to be a shy and uncommon species. The sharks congregated in numbers of 100 - 200 (by our estimates). The pictures only show a portion of the gully and the entire gully was filled to the brim with sharks. We also swam among the sharks, they did not show any hostilities toward us but stayed about 2m away from us. Something I am sure very little people ever saw and something I am definitely sure I will never again see in my lifetime!

Description: Locals called it a Leopard Shark. It must have got trapped by the receding tide and perished.
